“Sometimes the hardest fights are for the simplest things”.
Whether it’s closure on a battle you didn’t ask for, peace in a relationship that used to be easy, or a sense of calm in a chaotic heart – I’d want to go there with you and help you find it. I want to support you as you fight for what matters. Come on in, grab a seat, and let’s hear what’s going on. My style is laid back and comfortable, but, you’ll leave my sessions with a strategy for the upcoming week and a growing hope for the future.
After graduating from Austin College in 1988 with a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Psychology, I obtained my Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1995 from Texas Women University. Prior to starting my private practice, my clinical experience includes both inpatient and outpatient settings working with adults, adolescents and children dealing with addiction, abuse, trauma and other emotional disorders.
As a result of my history and experience, I am able to work effectively with individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents with differing and distinct struggles. I believe in a holistic therapy approach and, since one size rarely fits all, I have specialized training in multiple areas and in many modalities of treatment to help meet your individual therapeutic needs..
